Description
Authentic High-Carbon Damascus. Warm Burnt Camel Bone. A Trapper Built to Last.
This isn't a factory folder. The Stag Steel SK-032 Trapper is forged from genuine high-carbon Damascus (15N20/1095), hardened to 58-60 RC, and dressed in burnt tinted camel bone with rich amber and caramel tones. Every blade carries its own forge-welded pattern, and the bone scorches a little differently each time. That's the point. A classic 4.25"-closed trapper that slips into your pocket and pulls its weight — whether you're on the trail, around camp, or building a collection that means something.

Where Craftsmanship Meets Carry
The 3.25" blade is the classic trapper profile long enough to handle real work, slim enough to carry all day. It's forged from genuine high-carbon Damascus: 15N20 and 1095 layered and forge-welded by hand, then etched to reveal the pattern. This is the real thing, not a print on stainless. High-carbon steel takes and holds a keen edge beautifully.
One honest note: high-carbon Damascus is not stainless. It will develop a patina over time and can spot if left wet so keep it dry and lightly oiled. Cared for, it ages into something with real character. The burnt tinted camel bone handle brings warm, fiery tones and a secure grip, and no two pieces are ever quite alike.

+$20 CADQuestions You Might Have
1How do I choose the right knife for me?
It comes down to size, steel, and handle. We break it all down in our How to Choose Your Type guide so you can pick the blade that fits your hand and your use.
2Will this knife rust?
It can if neglected — this is genuine high-carbon Damascus (15N20/1095), not stainless. It naturally develops a patina over time and can spot if left wet. Wipe it dry after use and keep a light coat of oil on the blade, and it will stay healthy for generations. See our Care Guide for the full routine.
3Does it come with a pouch?
Yes, every SK-032 ships with a handmade leather pouch to protect the knife in your pocket or bag.
4Can I get this knife engraved?
Yes. Custom engraving is available for an additional $20 CAD — name, initials, or a short message.
5Do you ship to the USA?
Yes, this knife ships across both Canada and the USA, with tracking included on all orders.
6Will my knife look exactly like the photo?
Close, but not identical. Each knife is handmade, so the Damascus pattern and the burnt tint on the camel bone vary slightly. That's what makes it yours.
7How does Stag Steel compare to brands like Case or Buck?
Stag Steel knives are fully handmade in small batches. You're getting genuine hand-forged Damascus, not stamped factory steel. The craftsmanship and materials put it in a different category.
Care Guide
1How do I maintain the high-carbon Damascus blade?
Always wipe the blade dry after use and keep a light coat of mineral oil on it. Because it's high-carbon steel, a patina is normal and even protective but don't leave it wet or stored damp, or it can spot or rust.
2How do I clean the camel bone handle?
Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid soaking the handle, which can affect the bone over time.
3How do I care for the folding action and store it?
Keep the pivot clean and add a tiny drop of oil if it ever feels stiff. Store the knife dry in its leather pouch, away from prolonged humidity.
